![]() ![]() Please get in touch if you would like to discuss the best set up for you. It works for furniture manufacture but also stair manufacture using our StairDesigner software. This is a very fast and accurate way to get from design to production, much faster than manually inputting the dimensions of each part into your CAM software. OptiNest nested parts on the panel material ![]() Polyboard exports the project cut list to OptiNest which produces a DXF file of the nesting map for each panel. Import DXF files to VCarveįor a complete nesting solution, add our OptiNest nesting optimisation package to the set up for labelling of parts and stock and off cut management (not provided by VCarve). The whole process only take a few minutes and massively cuts down on human error as it is virtually automatic. VCarve then outputs the machine code to run the Mach configured CNC. Then output part by part DXF files of this cut list from Polyboard into VCarve. To explain in brief the integration, first design a furniture project in Polyboard which creates a cut list of the project. A great addition but not absolutely necessary for cabinetry and other furniture manufacture. It works just as well and offers in addition conversion of 2D drawings into 3D models with relief work. It offers a basic nesting solution too for nesting CNCs.Īspire is an upgrade on VCarve Pro, also made by Vetric. It’s also inexpensive and works very well. VCarve Pro interface showing Mach post processors Please check with Vetric who make VCarve to determine which post processor will be the best one for your CNC. First of all, the very good news…it comes with a Mach post processor so the integration will work in full. You can download the DEMO and give it a try before you buy. For more complex 4 and 5 axis CNCs, you may need to look at a higher end CAM software like Alphacam or Enroute or DDX’s EasyWOOD. Delta Cad - Worlds easiest CAD program, CAD software DEMO (only available for Windows version The Apple Mac App Store doesnt allow DEMOs) The DeltaCad DEMO is a fully functional version of DeltaCad, except it will only work for 45 days. For 3 axis CNCs, we tend to recommend VCarve Pro. We often get asked what CAM software we recommend for use with Polyboard, our furniture design and manufacturing software. There are a huge range of options to choose from including ArtCam, CamBam, VCarve Pro or Aspire and Alphacam. But you’ll need CAM software to go with it. If you are a professional using ArtSoft software, Mach4 is a much better option. It was never completely finished and in any case was used with Mach3 which isn’t really intended for professional use as we mentioned above. Laz圜am is no longer being developed by ArtSoft however. It allows import of DXF and other files formats into Mach3, which in turn generates the code to run a CNC. Laz圜am is CAM software developed by ArtSoft itself and comes free with Mach3. Mach4 comes in different levels, for the hobbyist again, up to the larger professsional workshop running their CNC day in, day out. Mach3 came first and targeted the hobby market. They are developed and supported by ArtSoft. Once you feel confident, you can set the tutorial to not display again.Mach3 and Mach4 are PC based software solutions for generating the GCode to run your CNC machine. Whenever you use a new feature, a custom tutorial begins automatically. The software includes several brief tutorials that illustrate basic features. We did not evaluate the DeltaCad program in our review. Image Pro comes with a second disc DeltaCad, a program that produces 2D mechanical drawings for drafting plans in both Metric and English units. To see your landscaped home from all sides, you’ll have to import and landscape additional photos of all sides. ![]() This program doesn’t offer 3–D features, so you can’t move around your finished landscape to view. You can also tweak your finished view by adding details like shadows and editing lighting effects, like brightness, contrast and hue. If you can’t find the images you want through the library, you can copy any image from the Internet-such as a unique front door-to incorporate into your plan.Īfter you enter a scale of reference-such as your front door height-textures (such as brick) are auto–scaled to fit, but you can also resize any objects (plants, outdoor furniture) to your liking. You can browse the Image Library to choose plants by growth rate, size, bloom season, sun and moisture needs and other criteria.
